Tyro App
Cabra Community College will be using a new attendance and school management app for the new academic year. We will no longer be using the VS Ware App and will be instead moving to Tyro.
It is very important that all parents download the new app as it will be used for all communications with school, school reports, fees and attendance. Please see our website for details on how to download and log into the app.
If you have an up-to-date email address on our system, you should have received an email invitation to set up your new Tyro account (please check spam and junk folders if you haven't received it yet).

Books and Materials
The government scheme providing free schoolbooks and core classroom resources has now been extended to include all students at both Junior and Senior Cycle. There is no charge for these items, and they will be provided directly by the school. All students need to bring on their first day is a school bag and a pencil case, as well as whatever equipment such as calculators, rulers, geometry sets, etc. that they received last year.
Cabra CC Enrolment Fee
The enrolment fee for students for 2026/27 is €30. This fee covers items that are not included in the new free schoolbooks scheme such as the locker fee, student insurance and bus costs for extra-curricular activities.
The fee can be paid via the Tyro App.
The Transition Year fee of €160 can also be paid via the Tyro app.
