Cabra Community College is an active participant in the JCSP/Sports and Cultural Council Writer in Residence Programme. Each year Cabra CC has a creative writing group who are supported by a published author to nurture and develop their writing skills during the academic year/
At the end of the programme a showcase event takes place in the Mansion house where students work is celebrated.
Students have worked with two outstanding authors in Kevin McDermott and Debbie Thomas in recent years.
